Organise a local fundraising event

A great way to support the work of Hospice Africa is to organise a fundraising event. Our supporters across the country make a fantastic contribution to our life-changing work, and it’s so easy to get involved.

If you are interested in organising an event in your local community, we are here to help. Whether it be a tried-and-tested event like a table quiz or coffee morning, or something totally unique, we can support you throughout with organisational help, promotional materials, and help at the event itself. Volunteer overseas

International volunteers have played a large role in supporting Hospice Africa in Uganda. Many are healthcare professionals who travel for an extended period of time, while others are nursing or medical students who spend their elective placement at HAU.

While working there, the volunteers gain a broad range of experience in the various components of hospice care, while contributing their skills in a structured environment. If you would like more information on this, please contact Betty Babirye: betty@hospiceafrica.or.ug
